We collect the information necessary to provide the service you requested when completing any of the forms on our website. At the very least, this will include your email address. We will also ask for your company name, website, and support email address, but this information is optional.

We use the information we collect to provide you with details about the services you are subscribed to or to allow you to use the available features of those services.

For Licence Holders:
Registered Licence Holders can purchase a subscription from a Vendor to use their product. After logging in, under the "My licences" tab, they will find complete information about their licences, including the Vendor's website and support email address. An expiration notification is sent to the provided email address prior to the expiration date.

For Vendors:
After logging in, Vendors can use all available options, including purchasing subscriptions for their products. An expiration notification is sent to the provided email address prior to the expiration date.

Vendor Information:
If the Vendor chooses to provide their website and support email, this information will be visible to the Licence Holder in the "My licences" tab, allowing them to click the link to the Vendor's website or contact them directly.

Legal basis. We process this data to perform the contract with you (account setup, licence issuance, expiry notices), to comply with our legal obligations (e.g. invoicing), and, where relevant, on the basis of our legitimate interest (e.g. preventing licence abuse, handling enquiries).

Who we share data with. Vendor data may be shared with our payment processor (Stripe, only when the Vendor pays for a subscription) and our invoicing provider, Fakturownia (fakturownia.pl, only when the Vendor requests an invoice), as well as our hosting provider, OVHcloud. Licence Holder data collected on behalf of a Vendor is not shared with our payment processor or invoicing provider — it is only ever passed to our hosting provider, OVHcloud, to the extent necessary to run the Service. No personal data is shared with any other party.

Controller vs. processor. For Vendor data, Lockingood acts as the data controller. For data belonging to a Vendor's own Licence Holders, the Vendor is the data controller and Lockingood acts only as a data processor, handling that data solely to technically operate licence issuance, verification and expiry notices on the Vendor's instructions. The terms of this arrangement are set out in Section 10 of the Terms & Conditions, which the Vendor accepts when agreeing to the Terms.

This site uses only cookies that are strictly necessary for it to work — specifically, an authentication token used to keep you logged in. The site is available in English only, so we do not use cookies to store language preferences, and we do not use analytics or marketing cookies. More information about cookies, including how to block them and/or delete them, can be found at AboutCookies.org.

Vendor data is kept for as long as your account is active, and — for billing-related data — for as long as required by tax law (in Poland, generally 5 years from the end of the tax year in which the relevant document was issued).

Licence Holder data is generally kept for as long as the licence is active, plus a reasonable period after expiry or archiving of the product.

Exception — abuse prevention: for technical reasons, some data identifying a previously issued licence (such as the link between an email address and the device on which a licence was activated) may be retained for longer than the licence itself, including after it is removed from the Vendor's panel. This is necessary to prevent circumvention of licence limits (for example, repeatedly claiming trial periods on the same device under different email addresses), and is based on our, and the Vendor's, legitimate interest in preventing abuse.

Payments for accounts registered in Poland are handled by Stripe Payments Europe, Limited, based in Dublin, Ireland, which processes data within the European Economic Area. In the standard configuration, there is no transfer of Vendor data outside the EEA in connection with payment processing. Our other data recipients (OVHcloud, Fakturownia) are also based in, and process data within, the EU/EEA. If a transfer outside the EEA were to become necessary in the future, it would be carried out subject to appropriate safeguards under GDPR, in particular the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

You can request a copy of the information we have about you at any time. At your request, we will also correct any inaccuracies in your data. In addition to access and correction, you have the right to: erasure of your data (subject to the retention exception described above), restriction of processing, data portability, objection to processing based on our legitimate interest, and withdrawal of consent at any time where processing is based on consent, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Polish data protection authority, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw), if you believe our processing of your data infringes GDPR. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the email address listed under "Data controller" above.
