Welcome to the Lockingood system

Forex-SoftProgramming specializes in MQL4 and MQL5 programming. Anyone who has ever developed software in these languages is familiar with the issues surrounding decompilation and piracy. That is why, before we started selling subscriptions for our own software, we decided to build a licensing system—and that is how Lockingood was born. Initially, the system was intended to manage licenses exclusively for our own programs. However, during its development, we decided to expand its capabilities, which led to the concepts of the Program Owner / Program Vendor . These are individuals or companies that own the rights to a program (or programs) and want to allow others to use them in a controlled manner.

Lockingood was designed as a tool that complicates the decompilation process and protects creators' copyrights. Its main goal is to raise the cost for potential thieves to a level where theft simply does not pay. In addition, while effectively protecting your programs from theft, Lockingood also features unique tools for gathering license statistics for your product.

Lockingood features a high level of DLL protection against cracking and, in the Premium version, it can hide critical parts of the code on the server.
Lockingood also offers unique tools for gathering statistical information about the programs it supports.
Our team is always open to adding additional features based on reasonable customer requests.

From the Program Vendor's perspective:
After completing all the necessary steps to integrate the program with Lockingood (as described in the "Help" section), the Vendor adds the program information to the system. To do this, they use the Vendors Dashboard → Manage Program → Add New Program form.
The Program Vendor is responsible for distributing their program's executable file along with the DLL prepared individually for that specific program.
The Program Owner also processes the information regarding payments received from the Consumer for commercial licenses. They can do this in two ways:

• Manually – in the Vendors Dashboard → Manage License → Create License form.
• Automatically - by setting up an automated transfer of payment information to the endpoint provided to them in our REST API.

From the Consumer's perspective:
The Consumer must be registered in the Database. This can be done in two ways:

• Registering directly on this website.
• The Program Vendor can set up registration on their own website and forward the registration data to the endpoint we provide in our REST API.

The Consumer should receive the files and instructions on what to do with them from the Program Vendor.
After following the instructions, the Consumer launches the program.
If the program includes a trial license and the Consumer wishes to use it, the initial launch takes place in two steps: confirming the intent to use the trial license, and activating the license.
If it is a commercial license, they simply need to confirm that they want to activate it.
